Complete Statement of Faith

Teshuah International – Full Statement of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the final rule for faith and practice.
Scripture References: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105

2. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — coequal and coeternal, each fully and truly God.
Scripture References: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. Jesus Christ

We believe in the full deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and future return in power and glory.
Scripture References: John 1:1,14; Luke 1:35; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, indwells, empowers for godly living, bestows spiritual gifts, and unites the Church in love and mission.
Scripture References: John 16:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:4–7; Acts 1:8

5. Humanity and Sin

We believe all people are created in the image of God with dignity and worth, but all have sinned and are separated from God, deserving His judgment.
Scripture References: Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

6. Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works. Through repentance and faith, believers are justified, adopted as God’s children, and assured of eternal life.
Scripture References: Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 5:1; Acts 4:12

7. The Church

We believe the universal Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers, called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission — to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations.
Scripture References: Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Corinthians 12:27

8. Eternal Destiny

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost — the saved to everlasting joy with Christ in heaven, and the lost to eternal separation from God.
Scripture References: John 5:28–29; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11–15; Philippians 3:20–21

Our Mission in Practice

Because of these convictions:
- We proclaim Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, the only true hope for freedom and restoration.
- We serve survivors of trafficking and oppression with compassion, dignity, and the love of Christ.
- We operate with integrity, stewardship, and excellence, knowing we are accountable to God for all that is entrusted to us.
- We seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus — demonstrating His Gospel through both word and deed (James 1:27; 1 John 3:18).
